The Polar Vortex

In the era of the Anthropocene, as I was taking these photographs, I feel like I’m seeing man and nature, geometry and abstraction crashing into one another in the disaster of history. The exhaust from jet engines and cloud cover smeared my images as I captured a landscape that is never without the traces of man; our highways, geometric fields and sprawling cities.
